The power of Exscalate is unprecedented.
Our virtual screening platform consists of the world’s largest ligand library of over 2 trillion organic chemistry molecules. Leveraging unlimited supercomputing resources together with big data analytics and AI we evaluate these molecules at a rate of up to 60 million per second for each new target.
This rapid simulation of how molecules interact with the human body’s complex biochemistry means that many hypotheses can be generated and tested in our platform. This accelerated process of drug design and testing delivers safe, precise and effective results.
Collaborative drug programs
We are more than a tool. We embark on the drug discovery journey with our partners. Together we are identifying novel drug candidates for a range of complex biological targets across multiple therapeutic areas. Whether it’s new drug design or drug repurposing strategies, our platform is accelerating projects through the drug discovery process towards clinical trials. The Exscalate platform has helped boost the identification of drug candidates for multiple validated targets, including some ongoing late-stage clinical trials in disease areas such as viral infection, ophthalmology, oncology and immune disease.
Working together to fight pandemics
In 2020, Exscalate led the public-private consortium, Exscalate4CoV. Bringing together 18 institutions and research centers across Europe, these partners leveraged the power of Exscalate’s supercomputing AI-driven platform in the fight against COVID-19.
In just four months a low molecular weight negative allosteric modulator, Raloxifene, was identified and successfully entered Phase III clinical trials.
